Truth is, they are their own heroes and heroines for mustering up the courage to meet me!
I took pride in helping every individual who comes to me. I am pleasantly thrilled whenever my clients tell me that they feel better and they are more confident to deal with their problems.
My clients loved the calming aura about me! I think this is the power of a safe space that I would love to create for every of my clients: to be heard, understood, and given specific points of support that are most needed by them.

Emotion Focused Therapy
Ms. Fion Liew is a skilled and experienced psychotherapist with a track record of delivering effective services for individuals with common emotional difficulties, relationship issues and those with a diagnosis of anxiety issues.
Her warm and approachable demeanour provides a safe space in the therapy for clients to explore, express and grow. Many of her clients with anxiety, depression showed improvements after seeking therapy from Fion.
She strongly believes in helping her clients build a healthy and positive self-identity, which provides a foundation for them to deal with present and future challenges in their lives.
Fion started her helping profession by working with families with complex needs such as financial issues, relationship issues, addictions or anger management issues.
She has also worked with people who are intellectually or visually impaired. As a certified Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) trainer, she designed curricula to equip them with important psychosocial skills to empower them to integrate into the society.
While she was with Care Corner Counselling Centre, she moved her focus to mental health counselling as she believes that mental health should not be a taboo, rather it needs to be faced and dealt with especially during the Covid-19 endemic that has shaken how we used to live life. Fion is passionate about this and she has been invited on TV programme offering her views on the impacts of Covid-19 on mental health. She has also given numerous talks on how to incorporate good mental hygiene in daily lives.
Fion is a registered Clinical Member & Registered Counsellor (RC) under Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC). Fion has a Master Degree in Counselling from the Singapore University of Social Science, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling Practice from the Counselling & Care Centre and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is well-versed with the major Psychotherapy approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness Practice, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Mindful Self-compassion (MSC), and customises her approach to her client’s needs.
I offer a friendly and down-to-earth approach to therapy, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to talk. With trainings and experiences in the main evidence-based psychotherapies.
