Biography

With a compassionate heart and a deep curiosity about what shapes us as human beings, Rene has always been drawn to supporting those in need. Looking back on her own journey, she discovered that her true passion lies in walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges—offering understanding without judgment.

Through both personal and professional experiences, Rene has come to appreciate the many layers of the therapeutic process. She values creating a safe, nurturing relationship where clients feel seen and supported. As an empathetic companion, she gently holds space for her clients’ pain while helping them find clarity, resilience, and new ways forward.

Rene is also deeply influenced by the work of Dr. Gabor Maté, particularly his insights on authenticity and trauma, which continue to inspire her practice and perspective.

Personal Experience

Rene’s journey in the helping profession began in a children’s home, where she supported young people through difficult seasons of their lives. She later expanded her work to couples in community settings, walking with them through struggles of emotional disconnection, communication breakdowns, and even the pain of infidelity.

In her most recent role, Rene provided therapy for individuals facing emotional challenges from many different origins. Along the way, she developed a deep understanding of Attachment theory and how it shapes the way we love, connect, and relate in romantic relationships.

Today, Rene brings this expertise into her work with adults who may be carrying the weight of adverse childhood experiences, fears of abandonment, early family dynamics, or ongoing challenges in their marriages and intimate relationships.
