2024 has been a year of transformation and growth for us at Awaken Counselling Centre (ACC). From moving into our main office, welcoming three new colleagues, and enhancing our systems, this year has been a defining chapter in our journey.
But with growth comes reflection. Just as a tree must deepen its roots to rise taller, we are “rooting in”—strengthening our foundation to better serve you, our valued clients, and support our incredible team.
This year, our mission to provide quality counselling care illuminate brighter than ever. One of our most meaningful new initiatives is the launch of therapeutic group work in a nursing home. These sessions aim to bring light and hope to the elderly who may feel frail or forgotten—encouraging conversations about life, fostering connections, and proving that every story still matters.
Within our team, we are cultivating a spirit of collaboration and mutual support. By strengthening the bonds between our staff, we ensure that every counsellor is empowered to provide care that is not only professional but deeply impactful.
At Awaken, our purpose is clear: to hold space for all who face life’s challenges, to guide healing, and to inspire growth. We believe in the power of transformation—whether it’s through a single conversation or a long journey of care. As we step into this new chapter, we are filled with hope and determination.
