For 18 years, my world revolved around my family. Those years were filled with meaning and love yet when it was time to return to work, I found myself standing at a crossroads. It was both exciting and daunting to rediscover who I was beyond my familiar roles. That experience gave me a profound understanding of what it feels like to face uncertainty, change, and the courage it takes to start again.
My first step back into the working world was as a program manager in a step-down care centre for individuals living with mental health challenges. That season changed me. I witnessed the quiet strength of people facing emotional pain, and the unwavering dedication of caregivers who showed up day after day. Their courage moved me and awakened in me a calling to walk alongside others through their own seasons of struggle and growth.
To support this calling, I pursued a Master’s in Counselling and further training in trauma recovery, relationship therapy, and neuroscience-based approaches. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) evidence-based methods that help clients heal at the root, not just cope on the surface.
My approach is gentle, relational, and grounded in compassion. I believe that healing begins when you feel safe, seen, and understood. Whether you’re working through personal pain, relationship challenges, or simply seeking clarity, my goal is to help you make sense of your emotions, reconnect with yourself and others, and move toward peace and wholeness.
If you’re feeling lost, weary, or unsure of the next step, I’d be honoured to walk with you — one step, one breath, one story at a time. 🌿
